The formation of Georgia thus swept its series of three duels against the formation of Pennsylvania. The latter, meanwhile, suffered a fifth consecutive defeat.

William Contreras and Matt Olson kicked the ball out of bounds in the day’s clash. In the case of the second, he stretched his arms while all the cushions were occupied by one of his teammates. It was also his 27e circuit of the present campaign.

Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson was no slouch, driving in three runs.

On the mound, starter Kyle Wright (16-5) continued his stellar season giving up just two hits in seven innings of work. He also passed eight Pirates players in the mitt.

In relief, Tyler Matzek and Kirby Yates have played the last two innings. The last to appear on the mound, in ninth, gave the two points for the crowd favorites.
