MLB summary of April 14 in the American League: Shohei Ohtani jostled by the Rangers

Shohei Ohtani allowed six runs over three and two-thirds innings in a game between the Los Angeles Angels and Texas Rangers on Thursday.
The game is still on and the Rangers held a comfortable 10-2 lead after five innings.
Ohtani gave a grand slam to Jonah Heim in second. Heim returned to the charge with a single productive in the fourth.
Angels manager Joe Maddon asked for the ball from Ohtani two batters later and a sixth earned run was added to the Japanese’s record when Heim crossed home on Corey Seager’s first homer with Texas at the expense of the left-handed reliever Brian Moran.
Mike Trout hit his second homer of the season in the first inning, a resounding slap 472 feet from home plate.
