Pitcher Corey Kluber has agreed to a one-year contract, with an option year in 2024, with the Boston Red Sox according to Jeff Passan ofESPN.
Last season with the Tampa Bay Rays, Kluber had a 10-10 record and a 4.34 ERA in 164 innings.
The 36-year-old pitcher was drafted in the fourth round of the 2007 draft by the San Diego Padres. During his career, he has a 113-71 record and a 3.31 earned run average.
In addition to the Rays, he has played for the Cleveland Guardians, Texas Rangers and New York Yankees.
Kluber has won the Cy Young in the American twice, in 2014 and 2017.
