MLB matches in London from 2023, Paris could follow

Major League Baseball (MLB) will host regular season matches in London in 2023, 2024 and 2026, the North American League announced in a joint statement with the mayor of the British capital Sadiq Khan on Monday. The London Stadium, home to athletics events during the 2012 Olympics, had already hosted two matches between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox in the summer of 2019.

Paris could be MLB’s next European destination. According to Reuters, the Los Angeles Dodgers are negotiating to play a match at the Stade de France in 2025. Contacted by the British press agency, the North American League confirmed that it wanted to develop « internationally «  with several host cities in the run-off.
