City of Seattle to host Major Baseball All-Star Game in 2023 according to what has been learned ESPN, Tuesday.
The goal would be to hold the All-Star Classic and Circuit Competition at T-Mobile Park. The last time the event was held in Seattle was in 2001 when it was known as Safeco Field.
The League did not confirm, however, that Seattle was awarded the All-Star presentation. The League has already confirmed that next season, Dodger Stadium will host the event and Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia is scheduled to host only in 2026.
The League made the decision this summer to hold the classic in Denver after first awarding it in Atlanta due to voting laws that were passed in Georgia.
