The Baseball Hall of Fame has moved the induction ceremony for Derek Jeter, Larry Walker, Ted Simmons and the late Marvin Miller from July 25 to September 8 so a crowd can attend as coronavirus restrictions relax .
The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn with a limited crowd
Inductions were due to take place in July 2020, but have been postponed due to the pandemic. No candidate was elected in 2021.
An awards show will take place on July 24 as planned in the form of an indoor and televised event.
