The Toronto Blues Jays have added veteran outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. to their roster.

The 32-year-old was released by the Boston Red Sox last week after struggling at bat. He is batting .210 with 29 RBIs in 91 games.

Bradley Jr. played nine seasons with the Red Sox, including winning two World Series in 2013 and 2018. In 2021, he had signed with the Milwaukee Brewers, but a tough campaign with a .161 batting average came the haunt. He then rejoined the Red Sox.

The Blue Jays are in contention for the playoffs with a 60-49 record. They rank first among the teams currently drafted.
