MLB – Baseball: Gallen and Cole will face off as starters in the All-Star Game


Gerrit Cole of the New York Yankees will face the National League roster in his first MLB All-Star Game start.

American League manager Dusty Baker named Cole to face Arizona Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen, who starts Tuesday night for the Nationals at T-Mobile Park. Cole will play in his sixth All-Star Game while Gallen will be in his first.

National League MVP favorite Ronald Acuna Jr. will hit first followed by Los Angeles Dodgers’ Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and JD Martinez.
