MLB: AJ Pollock would fly to Seattle
According to Jeff Passan of the network ESPNthe Seattle Mariners have reportedly signed outfielder AJ Pollock to a one-year, $7 million contract.
Outfielder AJ Pollock and the Seattle Mariners are in agreement on a one-year, $7 million contract, pending physical, sources familiar with the deal tell ESPN.
Pollock, 35, crushes left-handed pitching and joins new acquisitions Teoscar Hernandez and Kolten Wong in M’s lineup.

The 35-year-old Pollock spent his last with the Chicago White Sox after spending his entire career in the Nationals West with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Last year, the outfielder batted .245, hit 14 home runs and drove in 56 runs.
Pollock had the best season of his career in 2015 with the D-Backs. He had then participated in the all-star game, in addition to winning a gold glove.
