Milan: Faivre preferred to Isco?

In distress at Real Madrid in recent years, Isco (29 years old, 6 appearances and 1 goal in all competitions this season) has been regularly announced in the sights of AC Milan since last summer. But according to information from Calciomercato, the Italian club finally abandoned this idea.

In view of the start of the season of the Spanish midfielder, who has not convinced his new coach Carlo Ancelotti, the Rossoneri believe that the native of Benalmdena is on the decline and that his salary is too high. The risk to be taken to try to revive a player valued at 20 million euros by Real last summer is therefore considered too high.

According to the Italian media, the current Serie A co-leader, with Naples, prefers to turn to a player in Ligue 1: Romain Faivre (23 years old, 11 games and 3 goals in all competitions this season). To date, the Lombard formation preferred to try their luck with the talented attacking midfielder from Brest, who has yet to prove at a higher level, rather than with Isco.
