On Sunday, Vaudois Sébastien Buemi, driving his Toyota GR10-Hybrid, won for the fourth time 24 hours of Le Mans. Michael Fassbender, he was not at such a party.

On discovering the images of the accident on Saturday evening, Franck Lagorce, a former racing driver and consultant for Eurosport, laughed at the timed performances of Michael Fassbender – he was one of the few competitors to lap more than four minutes per lap –, launching: “It is no longer a stopwatch that is needed, it is an hourglass!” or even « four minutes is for the eggs in the shell, right?
