Amadou Traoré, a 20-year-old striker, playing in the colors of the Navy and White since 2015, is flying to the United States for a career in MLS.
A player from the Girondins academy
Playing in the Paris region in the Paris FC club during his childhood, he joined the Girondins de Bordeaux academy in 2015, at the age of 13. A fast right winger and a good dribbler, the Girondins club was able to exploit his potential by making him evolve into U19 at 17 years old. He is making his professional debut in Ligue 1 in 2021, with whom he will have 20 appearances.
A young international
The young Franco-Guinean has also proven himself with the national team of French hopes. Indeed, with matches played in U15, U16, U17 and U19, Amadou Traoré ended up choosing to represent the national team of Guinea.
An American career start
With a departure from the Girondins club last summer, he and his agent set out to find a new stage in his career. After a trial in the Dutch club SC Cambuur, which will come to nothing, an agreement with an MLS club ended up smiling at the former Bordeaux player.
Indeed, Amadou Traoré has signed a one-year contract and an optional second year with the Sporting Kansas City club. Indeed, the club of the West group of Major League Soccer, 2 times champion of the United States, began the procedure of visa of the young player.
The latter should soon begin pre-season training with the group of his new American club.
