With 11 arrivals and a complete renewal of its workforce this summer, ASSE will therefore have been very active during this summer transfer window. After tracking several Ligue 1 players, the Stéphanois had Irvin Cardona in mind. In lack of playing time on the Brest side, the French striker was of great interest to the Greens, but also to RC Strasbourg. But AS Saint-Étienne would have been forced to withdraw.
During this summer transfer window, theASSE will therefore have been very active with its 11 arrivals. Wishing to rebuild a workforce for Laurent Batlles and competitive,AS Saint-Etienne had notably targeted several players of League 1. Among them, we could find Irvin Cardona.

Several clubs were interested in Cardona
In lack of playing time with the Brest Stadium, Irvin Cardona was therefore looking for a club to be able to relaunch. The attacker was thus tracked by theAS Saint-Etiennewhile another club was also interested: the RC Strasbourg.
Conditions too high
Finally remained on the side of the Brest Stadium, Irvin Cardona could not have signed at theASSE. According to information from Goal Soccerthe Breton club would have asked for too high conditions for theAS Saint-Etienne who had therefore decided to withdraw from the case.
