Max Verstappen creates his motorsport structure

The partnership between Max Verstappen and Red Bull reaches a new milestone. After the contract extension concluded until 2028, Red Bull officially sponsors the new structure created by the Dutch world champion, who will be involved in both real competition and simracing.
The Verstappen.com Racing entity presents a logo in which the Red Bull coat of arms appears very clearly. In addition to his personal website which already manages all the merchandising and also organizes travel for fans via Vestappen Travel, the Racing branch is now launched. It is not strictly speaking an operational structure but rather a platform which will bring together under its coat of arms several drivers from the real and virtual world, all supported by Verstappen Racing and Red Bull.
Sports car
Verstappen.com Racing has already started to support… Max’s father, Jos Verstappen, who, at 50, started rallying in the Belgian championship. “Jos The Boss” drives a Citroën C3 R5 prepared by DG Sport with, for the moment, an 8th place and a retirement to his credit.
The other entry concerns the ADAC GT Masters, the official German GT3 championship. Thierry Vermeulen will drive an Audi R8 GT3 there, with the ultimate goal of moving up to the DTM. Well, well, a Verstappen / Audi collaboration, which could perhaps echo, soon, a partnership between Red Bull and the firm with the rings in Formula 1. Rumors speak of contacts already very advanced for the horizon 2026.
Simracing
Like Lando Norris, Max Verstappen is a fan of simracing, in particular competitions organized via the game Iracing, considered the most realistic.
Max Verstappen is associated in this area with the Redline team, which was founded more than 20 years ago. Redline is one of the pioneers of the genre but also represents one of the most important and successful simracing teams in the world. The Dutch champion has already participated in virtual races with them, such as during the 24 hours of Le Mans. The Red Bull driver thus joins drivers like Fernando Alonso, Romain Grosjean or even Jean Alesi who created their simracing structures.

Max Verstappen says: “Racing has always been my biggest passion in life, from the moment I first got into a kart until today. Apart from my own career in Formula 1, racing is what I devote most of my time to. »
“I am really happy that with the Verstappen.com Racing team, I can share the love of racing with drivers and teams with whom I feel strongly connected. Besides the fun it brings me, I can also share my racing knowledge with them, which hopefully will help everyone improve.
“Having entered into a long-term agreement with Red Bull Racing earlier this year, I am very happy to be part of the Red Bull family for many years to come. The close partnership with Red Bull as a company is also reflected in the fact that they are supporting the Verstappen.com Racing team for years to come, which makes me very proud. I can’t wait to get started and keep pushing hard. »
Our opinion, by leblogauto.com
Max Verstappen manages his enormous popularity as he should and fully embodies this new generation of video game-addicted drivers who will be able to make the link between real and virtual motorsport. This is one of the elements to be taken into account in Formula 1’s ability to attract a new generation of fans.
