PSG track Rashford
Paris Saint-Germain is already preparing for the post-Kylian Mbappé. At the end of the contract at the end of the season, the native of Bondy should take the management of Real Madrid. And according to The Times, the Parisian club would have targeted a player to replace its French star: Marcus Rashford.
Under contract until 2023 with the Red Devils, the 24-year-old English striker would have serious doubts about the Mancunian project and could change tune in the coming months. For his part, Mauricio Pochettino appreciates the profile of the player and would have slipped his name to the leaders of PSG.
Three small goals this season
Marcus Rashford had been the executioner of PSG at the last second in March 2019, scoring the penalty that eliminated the French club from the Champions League. But since then, not everything is going so well for the England international. Between injuries and ups and downs, Rashford does not become the player who was promised a bright future with the Red Devils.
This season, Rashford has scored just three small goals and provided an assist, in 15 appearances in all competitions. The arrivals of Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as the explosion of Mason Greenwood, seemed somewhat to cut the wings of a Marcus Rashford, called to be the leader of the Mancunian attack a few years ago. The Englishman could revive in another championship, and PSG seem ready to welcome him with open arms.
