Marco Andretti will try to qualify for the Indy 500


Andretti Autosport adds a fifth single-seater for Marco Andretti, who will try to qualify to participate in the 106th edition of the Indy 500.

Marco Andretti will attempt to make his 250th IndyCar Series start on Sunday May 29 for the 2022 Indy 500, driving the #98 Honda fielded by Andretti Herta Autosport with Marco Andretti & Curb-Agajanian with title sponsor KULR Technology Group.

Marco Andretti is looking to make his 17th start in the Indy 500, he who announced in 2021 that he would no longer drive full-time in IndyCar but that he would no longer compete in the classic on the IMS at the end of May. He got eight Top 10 finishes, including four in the top three, and took pole in 2020.
