Manon Rhéaume to compete in NHL All-Star Game skills contest
In 1992, Manon Rhéaume made NHL history by wearing the colors of the Tampa Bay Lightning during a preseason game.
Exactly 30 years later, she will be present at the NHL All-Star Game!
Manon Rhéaume will be the goalkeeper during the breakaway event during the skills competition.
Other guests
In addition to Manon Rhéaume, the NHL also invites Trevor Zegras, Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson and Wyatt Russell to be part of the festivities.
If you don’t know Wyatt Russell, here he is in his usual costume:
Competitions
In addition to announcing the presence of the Antechamber collaborator in the skills competition, the NHL unveiled two events.
First of all, there is the “duel in the fountain”:

Let the NHL explain what it is.
In the Duel in the Fountain, eight players will compete on thawed ice. They will take a boat to the center of the water in front of the Bellagio and they will try to hit five targets with pucks as quickly as possible.
Then there will also be the “Las Vegas 21 in 2022”:

As it also looks a bit complicated, let’s let our friends from the NHL speak.
In Event 21 in 2022, five players will line up on Las Vegas Boulevard and combine street hockey and blackjack. They will shoot towards 52 oversized cards, and try to get the highest score with the fewest pucks possible, without exceeding the limit of 21. The first player to win two rounds will be declared the winner of the event.
You can hear Manon Rhéaume’s comments on her participation in the NHL All-Star Game festivities during tonight’s L’Antichambre show.
