Madden NFL 23 could be released in Xbox Game Pass Day One! | XboxOne

The release of Madden NFL 23 is expected for August 19 and interesting information appeared on the official Xbox site for a few moments. The game could simply be released Day One in the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass catalog.

Madden NFL 23 would be released directly in the Xbox Game Pass

Usually, fans of the genre have to wait about six months before seeing the latest Madden game land in the EA Play catalog, and therefore in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass PC subscription. But a mention “included with Xbox Game Pass” suggests that the new opus, Madden NFL 23, will be released in Xbox Game Pass Day One.

The mention was seen on the official Xbox site for a few minutes before disappearing. One would think that the mention refers to the 10 hours of trial to the game via EA Play, but Xbox does not use this kind of display when this is the case.

Why was this banner posted and then removed? Simple error or information communicated before an announcement at the Xbox and Bethesda conference? If this were the case, it would certainly be a big blow for Xbox in the United States when we know the popularity of the license on the other side of the Atlantic. Answer in the next few days!

As a reminder, all the news from the Summer Game Fest and the Xbox conference will be available on Xboxygen with all the conferences commented on and broadcast live on our YouTube, Twitch and Facebook accounts from 7:30 p.m. this Thursday, June 9.
