Mâcon: job seekers and recruiters together in sportswear!


This Thursday, June 23 takes place in Mâcon the operation “From the stadium to employment”, organized by the French Athletics Federation, the Paris 2024 committee, the National Sport Agency and Pôle Emploi. We explain the principle to you.

In Mâcon, job seekers and recruiters meet in sportswear! This is the first « From Stadium to Employment » edition in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The event takes place in Mâcon on June 23 at the Marie-José Pérec stadium from 9 a.m. An innovative meeting around employment and the values ​​of sport.

Recruit through sport

Eighty job seekers and twenty recruiters Will be present. All have pre-registered for this event.

This morning, they will participate anonymously and as a team in athletics events (endurance, jump, relay, throw, sprint…). Then, in the afternoon, anonymity will be lifted and job dating will be organized, but without resume.

« Today, we have an economic context with a unemployment rate at 5.6% in the Mâcon basin, so a fairly low rate, and a lot of job offers. To be able to recruit, it is therefore necessary to be innovative“, explains Nathalie Mariadassou, the director of Pôle Emploi in Mâcon.

During the tests, each team will be made up of eight job seekers and two recruiters, all in sportswear and anonymously, « it will allow you to observe yourself, to show their skills, personal and collectiveboth for job seekers, but also for recruiters »she continues.

« The activities will make it possible to highlight human, professional and relational qualities, to see if there is team spirit, an ability to listen. It’s really recruiting differently“, concludes Nathalie Mariadassou.

The judoka from Mâcon and Paralympic medalist Sandrine Martinet will be present on this day.
