Luke Voit is approaching a return to the game

Finally good news for the Yankees. Their first baseman Luke Voit is approaching a return to the game, who is expected to go to the alternate site early next week.

Sees underwent knee surgery last March and has missed every game for his team so far.

Manager Aaron Boone said his player should start taking part in batting practices. He also said he could take part in a few games before joining the Yankees roster. An official return in a few weeks is possible for the reigning circuit champion.

The first baseman is sorely missed by the Yankees. They maintain a 7-11 record this season, good for last place in the East American. His replacement, Jay Bruce, retired a few days ago, but even before his retirement he wasn’t doing the job.

Luke brings a lot to the table. He has been one of the best hitters in the league over the past few years and he is certainly one of the voices in the clubhouse. I like his energy in addition to what he brings to the batting box.

His return will certainly do Boone’s formation a great deal of good. So far, the big hitters have been silenced by the opposing pitchers. And that has a direct impact on the team’s record.

As for another injury to a team regular, Gio Urshela is doing well after missing Wednesday night’s game. His manager is optimistic to see him in the lineup for Friday’s game.

So this is good news and maybe when Voit returns, the Yankees will finally play like the team we’ve been touting so much for the 2021 season.

10th Round
  • The attack has broken down with the Mets.
  • We do not seem to have targeted only one closer in Kansas City.

  • He is quite a leader of men.
