Luka Doncic explains his viral gesture in front of Nicolas Batum
Monstrous since the start of the season, Luka Doncic again carried the Mavericks this Tuesday evening. Their victim? The Clippers of a Nicolas Batum on fire. The Slovenian did not however hesitate to celebrate the victory in front of him, even if it meant surprising. The person concerned explained himself.
Often beaten by the Clippers in the past, especially in the playoffs, Luka Doncic has been taking revenge for some time now. The player always takes great pleasure in getting the best of Paul George’s teammates, still deprived of Kawhi Leonard this Tuesday evening. Halleluka took the opportunity to pull out a complete game, with 35 points in the pockets and a viral celebration.
Luka Doncic justifies himself after his celebration
His target? The Clippers players, though the fans must have been amazed. It’s rare to see someone unleash such a celebration at home, in front of their own home crowd. So why this choice, especially in front of Nicolas Batum? Doncic gave his version to journalists. Obviously, the Slovenian was a bit lacking in inspiration…
“I wanted a celebration. I don’t know why I did that, honestly. I’m not going to shush our fans, so I don’t know what I was doing.”

“I wanted a celebration. I don’t know why I did this honestly. I’m not going to ask our fans to shut up, so I don’t really know what I was doing. »
Caught in the moment, Doncic visibly dropped the first celebration that came to mind. No luck, she didn’t really lend herself to this situation. Whatever, Luka dropped an important basket and can have a smile.

You were silencing your GOAT haters
Luka Doncic didn’t choose the best celebration, but the fans told him willingly forgive. Especially after another crazy performance to dominate the Clippers. Unfortunately, even a Nicolas Batum in record mode couldn’t do anything about it.
