Luis Suarez to MLS
The Uruguayan was out of contract this summer after two seasons at Atletico Madrid and has decided to return to his first club in Uruguay, Nacional. Suarez has only signed a short-term contract expiring at the end of the Uruguayan league season, which ends in November.
Suarez wants to bounce back
According to RAC1, quoted by Sport, Suarez will join LA Galaxy after the tournament in Qatar. He will join his former teammate Riqui Puig in Major League Soccer, where the Catalan midfielder has performed well since arriving from FC Barcelona. It had been rumored that Suarez wanted to stay in European football before joining Nacional but he has since confirmed that his career in Europe is now over. Few strikers have made such an impact in the modern era.
