« Luis Díaz doesn’t speak a word of English but… »
Liverpool face Real Madrid in the Champions League final next Saturday at the Stade de France. A few days before this meeting, Jurgen Klopp was facing the media on Wednesday. The German technician took stock of the Reds’ season and also spoke about his new recruit, Luis Diaz.
“The season will have been fantastic even if we don’t win the Champions League. It will be a great game. They are two very strong teams historically in this competition. I know it will be difficult and it will be special,” declared the German coach at a press conference.
“Thiago has a good chance of being there. He is going to train this afternoon, he did some things this morning in the gym. From there, we’ll see. It’s not as bad as it looked, Klopp stressed, before talking about Luis Díaz’s influence on the Liverpool team. Luis Diaz? He does not speak English [rires]but he helps a lot and has been very good”, he added.
