Liverpool star Nat Phillips attracts interest from FOUR Premier League clubs and Bayer Leverkusen after impressive replacement for Virgil van Dijk

Nat Phillips’ end of last season for Liverpool saw him become a transfer target for several Premier League clubs.

During the club’s center-back crisis last season, the 24-year-old defender played for the club 20 times to help them secure third place in Premier League and Champions League qualifying.

A series of impressive performances have now seen West Ham United, Newcastle United, Burnley, Brighton and Bayer Leverkusen of Germany consider signing the player, according to Sky Sports.

Phillips would demand a fee of £ 15million and, if he left, Brighton would apparently be ready to match that price.

Considering Ben White’s imminent departure for Arsenal, it’s no surprise to see the South Coast club target Phillips.

The allure of European football could be more appealing to Phillips, however, so a move to West Ham or Leverkusen could be considered.

Both teams will make the Europa League this season and Phillips is no stranger to German football after a stint in Stuttgart in the 2019/20 season, where he made 22 appearances for the club.

Phillips could also be looking for a move given he has now tasted first-team football and the fact that Liverpool now have Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip back from injury.

They also recently signed another center-back to Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig for £ 36million.
