Alexander Ritschard (ATP 213) made a convincing entry into the running at Heilbronn Challenger (Germany). The 28-year-old from Zurich won in the first round against Moldovan Radu Albot (ATP 110), seeded No. 6 in the tournament, in two sets (6-3, 6-3).
In the next round, Ritschard will face the winner of the head-to-head between Serbian Miljan Zekic (ATP 265) and Indian Sumit Nagal (ATP 309).
