Lionel Messi Could Join MLS Next Summer
The Paris Saint-Germain player is about to pack his bags during the summer transfer window.
At the end of the contract in June 2023, Lionel Messi may well have already found a new employer to join for free during the next summer transfer window.
According to The Times, the Argentinian would be in contact and on the verge of concluding an agreement with Inter Miami, the MLS club of David Beckham. The British daily adds that his salary would make him the highest paid player in the championship.
This transfer, if it were to be carried out, would therefore confirm the rumors that have been circulating for months, or even more, as to Beckham’s desire to use Messi as the flagship image of his franchise.
