Lille: the real figures of the transfer of Osimhen revealed!

Zapping Eleven Mondial TOP 10: The most profitable transfers in history

On August 1, 2019, Victor Osimhen joined LOSC from Charleroi for 12 million euros. An investment very well felt for the Mastiffs, since they sold the Nigerian international to Naples a year later for an amount estimated at 70 million euros. An insane amount, which it is necessary to revise downwards. Indeed, as part of a financial package between the two clubs, four Napoli players have gone the opposite way for around twenty million euros in total.

A year and a half later, the newspaper The team reveals that the sale of Osimhen would have brought « only » 36 million euros to the northern club. A sum almost halved due in particular to the purchase price of the player in Charleroi (12 million euros), the arrangements with Napoli (around 20 million euros) which were made possible by the will of Lille to  » have an immediate cash flow and not staggered over several years (what Naples proposed unlike the other suitors of Osimhen) as well as the various commissions received by the agents and other intermediaries involved in this transfer.

Osimhen, the spearhead of Napoli

Last year, Victor Osimhen had his first Serie A adaptation season under Gennaro Gattuso. But since the start of the current exercise, the former LOSC striker has asserted himself as the main offensive weapon of the Partenopei.
