It’s official. After trying in vain to bring Fabien Centonze before the end of the transfer window, the FC Nantes (Ligue 1) resumed discussions a few days ago with FC Metz (Ligue 2) and the two clubs have finally reached an agreement in recent hours.
The 26-year-old full-back, who signed up for the next five seasons, arrives as a wildcard. It is now linked until 2027 with the club on the banks of the Erdre, said FC Nantes on its website.
83 Ligue 1 matches with Metz
Trained in Grenoble then in Evian, Fabien Centonze played under the colors of Clermont Foot 63 before joining the Racing-club de Lens. He had been in Moselle since the summer of 2019 where he will have played 83 games in the elite of French football.
