Ligue 1: About twenty LOSC employees affected by Covid-19

It is a real cluster that strikes the LOSC. As AFP reports, around twenty cases of Covid-19 have been reported within the stewardship and ticketing services of the northern club. No case is however to be deplored in the entourage of the professional group, and the trip from Lille to Rennes this Wednesday evening (9 p.m.) for the 16th day of Ligue 1 is not threatened, said Losc.

The club has also tested all unvaccinated and risky contacts of positive people. « We are all on the same site, the administration, the athlete, the training and we have to be careful« , said coach Jocelyn Gourvennec at a press conference on Tuesday. »We have to be rigorous because we need everyone on the bridge, we cannot afford to have players standing still. Barrier gestures are the best remedy to avoid any problem but we are not immune to anything« , he added.

The French champion club, where many internationals play, was one of the clubs affected by the epidemic last season. Turkish midfielder Yusuf Yazici had notably been positive on two occasions, in January and then in April.
