Ligue 1 – 32nd day: ASSE gets back on track by winning against Brest
The film of the match between ASSE and Brest
Under the beautiful Stéphanois sun, the Greens started the match badly by conceding a goal in the 8th minute through the former Forezien, Franck Honorat. On this one, the defense has something to do with it: Nadé unable to get the ball out, Silva eliminated easily with a bracket, and Bernardoni not exemplary.
We tell ourselves that we are going to live a new nightmarish afternoon. However, the Greens are putting their heads back in place. And that goes through winning set pieces. They are finally well drawn by Denis Bouanga who was in charge this Saturday afternoon. On the first, alone at the far post, Mahdi Camara equalizes (14′).
Then the highlights follow. Khazri weighs heavily on the defense Brestoise, which one feels feverish (with a premature exit of the Breton captain, Chardonnet, on injury). On the third corner, it is again Camara who shines. From the chest, and with great success, the young Stéphanois scored a double.
After the restart and until the hour mark, the match is a bit soporific. But after a few scares, the Greens moved forward again and became dangerous again with two big situations including one on a corner (68′) and another on a counter-attack (71′). Each time, the Breton goalkeeper, Bizot, released a great save.
At the end of the match, the Greens are feverish in defense in particular because of the physical limits of Silva. An unbreathable end to the meeting. We suffer but Paul Bernardoni saves the Greens in the last seconds with a superb save.
The Greens pocket the three points and are positioned in 17th placetemporarily.
