Leicester still struggling
Leicester’s first Premier League win of 2022 will have to wait. Beaten in Wolverhampton (2-1), the Foxes did not engage after their great victory in C4 against the Randers (4-1). Picked cold by the opener of Ruben Neves (9th), Brendan Rodgers’ men had yet equalized before the break through British striker Ademola Lookman (41st).
But after Neves, it was another Portuguese, Daniel Podence (66th), who allowed Wolverhampton to sign their 12th victory of the season. By beating the Foxes, the Wolves (7th) overtake Tottenham (8th) and can still believe in a European place when Leicester continues to languish in the soft underbelly, 13 points behind their opponent of the day (11th).
