Le Mans. The Assises de l’Automobile scheduled for November 2 and 3, 2021


Organized by West France in partnership with the Automobile club de l’Ouest, the second edition of the Assises Nationales de l’Automobile will be held in Le Mans (Sarthe) on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 November 2021. They will bring together, for two days at the Le Mans circuit, many personalities from the automotive world: manufacturers, distributors, energy specialists, etc.

Colossal stakes

Luc Chatel, president of PFA, the automotive platform, Jean-Dominique Senard, president of the board of directors of Renault, Pierre Coppey, president of Vinci Autoroutes, Jacques Aschenbroich, CEO of Valeo, Stéphane Le Foll, mayor of Le Mans, notably some of the people invited to participate in these times of discussion around the automobile of today and tomorrow, more intended for an audience of professionals.

« There is a strong expectation to discuss and understand, this while the automotive world is in the grip of significant turbulence: health crisis, component problems, obligation to drive clean by 2030 … The stakes are colossal », details Gaël Desgrées du Loû, events manager at West France.

Round tables

Assessment of the health crisis, new modes of automobile consumption, the place of hydrogen in the future energy mix, shift in the energy transition in motorsport, autonomous driving and cars, are all themes that will be the subject of round tables, moderated by journalists from the group West France. Also note, on the circuit, demonstrations and exhibitions of innovative vehicles (prototypes, hydrogen, electric, etc.).
