Canadian star quarterback Nathan Rourke, who has distinguished himself with the BC Lions this season, will try to convince National Football League teams to hire him, ESPN reported on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old had 3,349 yards with 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 10 games after missing half of the season with a foot injury. He completed 78.7 percent of his pass attempts, a CHL record.
A native of Victoria, BC, Rourke led the Lions to the Western Final. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers, however, won 28-20.
