Lamborghini’s first half of 2022 is exceptional for the brand

Despite the tense geopolitical situation and the problems with the delivery of electronic chips, Lamborghini announces new sales records.
Lamborghini has announced its key figures for the first half of 2022 worldwide. The brand delivered 5,090 vehicles, i.e. 4.9% better than in 2021, which was already a “grand cru” year.
Where are the majority of customers located?
The EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) has the highest number of sales (41%), ahead of America (34%) and Asia-Pacific (25%). The USA remains the number 1 market for the Italian supercar manufacturer (1,521 units) ahead of the Chinese regions Macao and Hong Kong (576 units), Germany (468), the United Kingdom (440) and the Middle East (282 ).
The future
The Lamborghini Urus SUV accounts for 61% of sales. The sporty Huracan and Aventador – production of the latter is coming to an end – share the rest of the sales. The Sant’Agata Bolognese brand unveiled a few days ago an « all-terrain » version of its Huracan. The next announcements will concern the Urus SUV, which is expected in particular in a plug-in hybrid version.
