Lamborghini just produced the 20.000th copy of the Huracán, an STO model with a Grigio Acheso Matt dress, which will be delivered to its client in Monaco.
The career of Lamborghini Huracan has been around for 8 years, with a wide range of versions that has expanded over time: 12 road versions and 3 racing versions. Since its launch in 2014, 71% of customers have chosen the coupe versions and 29% the roadsters, and the model celebrates its 20,000th sample product.
More than 60% of Huracáns produced have been customized with the Ad Personam program, which offers a wide range of new colours, trims and materials. No less than 300 exterior colors are available, but the customer can also have their color made to measure. the Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program is appreciated by customers in Central Europe, Japan and the United Kingdom, who are the most sensitive to bespoke customization of their vehicle.
Lamborghini Huracán: a popular model
Today the model is still a success and has recorded a strong growth in sales, up to 2,586 copies sold last year, due in part to the success of the Huracán STO. The model’s largest market is the United States, with 32% market share, followed by the United Kingdom and China.
The Huracán also distinguished itself on the track: 500 racing Huracan models have been entered in Super Trofeo and GT3, including a limited edition Squadra Corse launched in 2019 for the 10th anniversary of the Super Trofeo. The Huracán GT3s have won more than 40 championship titles and 117 victories, in more than 12 series around the world: Lamborghini has notably won the 24 Hours of Daytona GTD three times in a row, the GT3 and GT3 EVO having also scored a double at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, in 2018 and 2019.
