LaLiga opens up even more to African football fans

LaLiga is launching an exciting new multi-platform show, LaLiga Loca, this week which will celebrate the growth of the Spanish league on the African continent and ensure greater engagement with football fans.

The show is hosted by SuperSport presenter Julia Stuart. It will feature legendary players from the African continent who have played in the Spanish league, as well as other high-profile guests and an original fan segment. LaLiga Loca will be broadcast for the first time on the African continent this week. Finidi George, former LaLiga and Nigeria Super Eagles icon, will be a special guest on the first show, which will premiere on DStv’s dedicated LaLiga channel, on SuperSport 4, on Thursday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m. .

It will also be available on LaLiga’s Instagram and Facebook social media platforms. This will give African football fans the opportunity to interact with the league and share their favorite LaLiga highlights and commentary while having the opportunity to win one-time prizes.

LaLiga Loca features the best of LaLiga news and views from across the African continent, with guests including former Real Betis and Real Mallorca winger Finidi George bringing first-hand knowledge of the Spanish league. Finidi George will reflect on being one of the African pioneers of LaLiga, as well as what makes the league so special and unique, while sharing his thoughts on players and teams to watch in LaLiga.

Mbulelo Thinta, broadcaster, podcaster and host of the sports program MKT, and Jermaine Craig, experienced sports journalist, analyze in the first program the most interesting matches of the LaLiga season and the players to watch, with a focus on African championship stars and players with a close connection to the African continent.
