Kwik Trip 250 – Presentation of the event

Find a presentation of the eighteenth event of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series championship, the Kwik Trip 250 on the Road America road course in Wisconsin.
As in 2021, the Elkhart Lake circuit is hosting NASCAR for the American Day weekend. It will only be the third Cup race on the 4,048-mile road course located in Plymouth, Wisconsin, the first having been held in 1956.
Composed of 14 bends, the layout today is practically the same as it was originally. The track was built respecting the natural topology of the Kettle Moraine glacial region, which makes it one of the most difficult tracks today.
This Road America race will be the third of six road races of the season. For now, only Trackhouse Racing has won with Ross Chastain on the Austin circuit, then Daniel Suárez almost three weeks ago, in Sonoma.
