Kurzawa to Premier League relaunch?

Pushed towards the exit at Paris Saint-Germain, Layvin Kurzawa could soon find a way out in the Premier League. The French left side would appeal to promoted Fulham during the summer transfer window.

386 days. It has now been 386 days since Layvin Kurzawa last played an official match with PSG. Apart from a friendly, the 29-year-old left-back has not worn the Ile-de-France club jersey since the Champions Trophy lost against Lille (0-1, August 1, 2021). Dismissed from the group of Christophe Galtier this summer, the defender was not however the subject of many rumors during the transfer window and also does not seem in a hurry to leave Paris when his contract will end in June 2024.

Fulham would think of getting him out of his current mess by giving him a chance to bounce back. According to information from the British media The Evening Standard, the Cottagers are considering the former Monegasque to strengthen their team in the Premier League.

Fulham very active during the transfer window

Promoted to the top flight, Fulham have already recruited with a vengeance to try to stay there with the signing of Joao Palhinha, Issa Diop, Andreas Pereira, Kevin Mbabu, Manor Solomon and even Bernd Leno. Nevertheless, despite almost 60 million euros spent, the London club have still not got their hands on a new left-back.

If the American international Antonee Robinson currently occupies a starting place in the corridor, the management of the Cottagers would therefore like to put him in competition with Layvin Kurzawa.

Unfortunately for PSG, there is no guarantee that the Premier League outfit will submit a proposal for the 29-year-old Frenchman. Above all, the British press has not yet specified the terms of a possible transfer or loan offer.

Fulham’s priority according to the English media, Layvin Kurzawa could thus be the first name of a new batch of recruits before the closing of transfers on September 1. Among the possible recruits targeted to join the team led by Marco Silva, we find Neal Maupay (Brighton), Bordeaux player Ui-jo Hwang and Justin Kluivert (Roma).
