Kevin Strootman leaves Marseille and returns to Italy! (off.) –

It’s official, Kevin Strootman has found a way out. The 32-year-old midfielder returns to Genoa on a loan with an option to buy.

Genoa has just announced the return of Kevin Strootman. Ready there during the 2020-2021 season, the 32-year-old midfielder will return there this season. The Dutchman is again loaned by Olympique de Marseille to the Italian team with an option to buy, the amount of which has not yet filtered.

It’s a sigh of relief for Pablo Longoria who had to cut fat at all costs at the end of the transfer window. According to Foot Mercato, the Marseille club will still pay a large part of Strootman’s salary. Under contract with OM until the end of the season, the former AS Roma should therefore never wear the Marseille jersey again.
