Kevin Harvick’s pilot career is clearly coming to an end, a retraining as a consultant from 2024 at FOX is envisaged.
Next season the FOX group plans only two titular commentators. As in 2022, it will be Mike Joy and Clint Bowyer. However, a third person will come to assist the duo. Tony Stewart, Jamie McMurray or even Jeff Gordon had taken the costume of consultant in 2022.
In 2023, the FOX group therefore plans once again to call on different people in the role of the third commentator, before hiring a full-time person in 2024.
The name of a pilot comes back with insistence in the world of television, once he has hung up his helmet and gloves, that of Kevin Harvick. The 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion still has one season to go with Stewart-Haas Racing in 2023 and everything suggests that he will not extend his contract beyond next season.
Kevin Harvick could stay in the NASCAR paddocks in 2024, but this time on behalf of FOX. The one who will turn 47 on December 8 has already been a consultant for the FOX group during races in the NASCAR XFINITY Series and was even a main commentator with Joey Logano when the channel broadcast second division races only commented on by drivers.
