Kevin Durant’s incredible troll on Ben Simmons’ return to Philly!

Ben Simmons was back at Philadelphia, finally, and he was welcomed as he should be by his former supporters. Whistles, insults, he had the right to the total, which obviously made Kevin Durant react. The Nets superstar allowed himself a big troll on the Sixers and their supporters.

The Nets had to put on a great performance this Tuesday in order to properly celebrate the return of Ben Simmons in Philadelphia… The planets were also perfectly aligned for a demonstration, since Kyrie Irving was back after his suspension, and most importantly the Sixers were without Joel Embiid, James Harden and young Tyrese Maxey.

But strangely, Jacque Vaughn’s men showed a flagrant lack of desire and quite logically bowed in this meeting yet within their reach. Evidence of the group’s failing state of mind, Kevin Durant took only one shot in the last quarter, while the score was still tight at the start of the last 12 minutes…

Kevin Durant trolls Sixers fans

Rather disappointing on the floor with 20 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds, Kevin Durant was however excellent in front of the journalists’ microphones. With a big smile, he allowed himself to troll Sixers fans about their welcome for Ben Simmons. According to the Nets No. 7, all the commotion is because basketball fans secretly love Brooklyn, but don’t know how to express it.

There are many things that can explain why people hate us. But the fans really love us, it’s just misplaced love I guess. In the end they like to see us play.

Kevin Durant did not lose his sense of humor after the defeat of his people, he proved it with this declaration. According to him, the more the fans hate them publicly, the more it means they love Brooklyn deep down. A very optimistic approach to the situation, which he wanted to rectify later with a statement much more in tune with reality.

The reception is the same in all rooms. Everyone hopes that our team will come together. Nobody likes Ben Simmons. Nobody likes Kyrie Irving. Nobody likes Kevin Durant. I think it will be the same everywhere until the end of the season. It’s something we’ll have to get used to. The fans will always be 100% to face us.

Deep down, Kevin Durant wasn’t surprised or disturbed by the Sixers’ welcome to Ben Simmons, since every fan outside of Brooklyn wants to see them lose. The rooms are always full to receive the Nets, and the spectators always noisy.
