As announced by the club, Brest will sign a permanent contract with Kenny Lala, who terminated his current contract with Olympiacos earlier this month.
The former defender of Racing Club de Strasbourg has, from today, started training with the group as the Pirates prepare for their return to Ligue 1 at the end of the month – although Kenny Lala will officially sign his contract at the club when the transfer window opens on January 1 meaning he will be unavailable for Brest until then.
Lala arrived at Olympiacos in 2021 from Strasbourg, where he was called up temporarily to France and won the Coupe de la Ligue in 2018/19. Since then, the full-back has played 51 times, including numerous Europa League and Champions League appearances, and won the Greek league twice. Ithe terminated his contract after three managerial changes and not a single appearance this season.
