Kemar Lawrence returns to MLS in Toronto
Kemar Lawrence leaves Anderlecht for Toronto, in Major League Soccer (MLS), the North American championship. The two clubs announced it on Friday.
The Jamaican left-back, 28, arrived in January 2020 from the New York Red Bulls. He totaled seventeen appearances, with one goal, in the Anderlecht jersey.
Lawrence signed a contract until 2024 with Toronto, said the Canadian franchise. During his first stint in MLS, which lasted five years, Lawrence had played 129 games, for 5 goals. Before that, he had played in his country, at Harbor View FC He has 60 appearances and three goals for the national team.
