Kemar Lawrence leaves Anderlecht and returns to MLS

The Jamaican defender has signed a three-year contract with Toronto FC.

Kemar Lawrence leaves Anderlecht for Toronto, in Major League Soccer (MLS), the North American championship. The two clubs announced it on Friday.

The Jamaican left-back, 28, arrived in January 2020 from the New York Red Bulls. He totaled seventeen appearances, with one goal, in the Anderlecht jersey.

Lawrence has signed a contract until 2024 with Toronto, the Canadian franchise said. During his first stint in MLS, which lasted five years, Lawrence had played 129 games, for 5 goals.
