KCMG with a sizeable crew at the 24 Hours of Spa

KCMG is not coming to the 24 Hours of Spa (July 28-31) to make the number this year. For this 74e edition of the Ardennes classic, the Hong Kong team has retained the services of Nick Tandy and two Porsche drivers, Laurens Vanthoor and Dennis Olsen, for its 911 GT3 RN°47 which will sport a special livery on race day. Note that the first two cities know each other very well since they won there in 2020 at the wheel of the Rowe Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R.

» I am delighted to tackle the 24 Hours of Spa with KCMGemphasizes Laurens Vanthoor. We have work to finish after Daytona. It would be great to end the season with a victory at the 24 Hours of Spa. I’ve raced alongside Dennis a lot in the past and I’ve known Nick for a very long time. I think we’re a great crew, adding to an already strong team. Porsche has always been competitive at this circuit, so we have no reason not to go for the win and take home a trophy.. »

Whether Nick Tandy, Laurens Vanthoor or even Dennis Olsen, the three men know KCMG very well. They have indeed already run for the Asian structure this year. Vanthoor and Olsen scored a podium for the Hong Kong team’s first appearance at the 24 Hours of Daytona last January while Tandy contested the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in late May with Olsen.

KCMG will get a taste of its trio’s potential this week with Official Testing of the 24 Hours of Spa from June 21-23.
