Jules Kounde “agrees on personal conditions” with Chelsea and West Ham “strike agreement” for Kurt Zouma – Marseille News
Chelsea are set to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla – but the deal depends on whether or not Kurt Zouma agrees to join West Ham.
The 26-year-old Blues center-back was chased by the Hammers throughout the transfer window and. now reports that the two clubs have reached a deal.

Zouma could leave Chelsea for good this summer after seven years at the club
It is now up to Zouma and West Ham to agree on personal terms, which could be a problem as the Frenchman wants a significant pay rise from the £ 125,000 a week he earns at Stamford Bridge.
This would make the defender the highest paid player in defender David Moyes, which is currently preventing the deal from being reached.
It also prevents Chelsea from signing Kounde. According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have agreed personal terms with the defender, but Sevilla still want their £ 67million release clause honored, so Zouma must be sold to fund the deal.
Zouma has held firm with his intention to stay in London, with West Ham and Tottenham being two potential destinations for him this summer.

Jules Kounde could join Chelsea again this summer
But east London is now the favorite for his signing and wants to strike a deal across the board.
Thomas Tuchel has been following fellow French international Zouma Kounde for some time and a deal could finally come about if the Blues sell one of their existing defenders.
Spain football specialist Terry Gibson has said Kounde would be a superb signing for any Premier League club but would be surprised if the La Liga side let him go.
“He would be a perfect fit for anyone in the Premier League and it’s no surprise Chelsea are trying to have him,” Gibson told talkSPORT.

Tottenham signed former Sevilla Kounde teammate Bryan Gil this summer
“He’s a small central defender, but he’s really good in the air. He’s quick, good with the ball and can play center-back and right-back as well.
“I think he’s a great player but I would be surprised if that happened because Sevilla, after selling Bryan Gil, the player they wanted to keep is Jules Kounde.
“They are hoping that the finances received from Gil will allow them to keep him, but it looks like the player might think it is time to move on to a club that challenges the title.”
