After leaving Olympique de Marseille, Jorge Sampaoli bounced back to Sevilla FC, currently 18th in La Liga. The Argentinian coach has failed to fix the club’s sporting situation and could quickly take the door.
A little ride and then go for Jorge Sampaoli? The Argentinian tactician left Olympique de Marseille this summer before quickly bouncing back to Sevilla FC in October.
The task promised to be tough for him to bring the Andalusians back into the middle of the table, far from the red zone. A few meetings later, the deal is far from having changed.
Sevilla FC is still 18th and sees the competition move away gradually without either the content or the results improving. That’s why Sampaoli has a good chance of leaving in the next few days, according to La Cadena Ser. The fiery South American coach would also pay for his bad relationship with the management and especially Monchi who would no longer hold him in his heart too much.
As in Marseille, the current Andalusian manager shouted loud and clear his need for recruits in the winter transfer window. Internally, his repeated requests would tense up at all levels. Clearly, he is not considered the providential man to put Sevilla back on the right track.
