Jon Olsson got the car of his dreams!

We all have a car that we can’t get out of our heads: Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Countach, Porsche 911, … An unattainable dream. Except for Jon Olsson! The Red Bull athlete turned entrepreneur and youtuber has offered himself the extremely rare Porsche 993 GT2 Evo he has always dreamed of!

Lovers of beautiful bodywork have all heard of Jon Olsson. This former Red Bull athlete specializing in skiing is indeed a great car lover! Since becoming an entrepreneur and youtubeur, the Swede has had fun. He also has some beautiful creations to his credit: Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, RS6, G-Class… If he had been more discreet lately, he has just bought the car of his dreams!

A Porsche 911 GT2 Evo…

What was he dreaming of? From a Porsche 911 GT2 Evo apparently. Except that’s not quite the case. It is actually a 993 turbo perfectly modified to become an exact replica of a GT2. And it’s not just the bodywork that has been updated, all the mechanics and the chassis have also gone under the knife. Only two elements differ from the ultimate version of this generation of the German sports car: its chassis number and its price!

… or almost

A real GT2 is well over a million euros. As a result, we think about it twice (or three) times when taking it out of the garage… This “copy”? We found his ad on Collecting Cars showing a final bid of €169,500. Admittedly, it’s not cheap, but it’s still far from the crazy sums for which the official chassis are exchanged. Suffice to say that this copy should spend a lot of time on the road! So much the better for such beauty. Mr Olsson does not wish to modify it… The future will tell us if he stuck to this plan.
