At the start of the MLS season, league commissioner Don Garber spoke to the media to set the stage for 2022.

CF Montreal begins its MLS season on Sunday in Orlando. Barely started, this season is already bringing its share of challenges.

If sportingly the club can be respectable, outside the field, it has several issues to settle.

Many challenges

The club has still not named its new president. There is always a cold between the club and the Ultras. Moreover, we still do not know if the Ultras will be present for Wednesday’s match against Santos Laguna.

It looks like the name and logo change pill is starting to wear off, but many are still very bitter about it.

During his press briefing, Garber made a point of explaining and raising the points which he believes are the most problematic in Montreal.
