In 2024, Joey Logano will continue to be a Team Penske driver in the NASCAR Cup Series, as the team announces that he is extending for several seasons.
This Wednesday Team Penske announces the extension of Joey Logano’s contract for the coming years. Champion in 2018 with the team, Joey Logano had a contract which ran until the end of the 2023 season.
“For the past ten years, Joey has been an important part of Team Penske and we know he will continue to be the leader of Team #22 in the future. Joey is a great champion of our sport and we are proud that he continues to represent our team and all of our partners starting with Shell, Pennzoil and Ford. He also brings veteran leadership to our program by serving as a great mentor and teammate to both Ryan (Blaney) and Austin (Cindric)” indicates Roger Penske, in the press release from his team which formalizes the extension of the collaboration with Joey Logano.
Joining Team Penske for the 2013 season from Joe Gibbs Racing, Joey Logano has 27 NASCAR Cup Series victories in nearly ten seasons, including the 2015 DAYTONA 500, the 2016 All-Star, the Bristol Dirt Race in 2021, as well as the very first with the Next Gen, the Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum last February.

Since joining Team Penske, Joey Logano has always made the playoffs, with the exception of the 2017 season, which ended in seventeenth place. In addition to his title acquired in 2018, he qualified three other times for the final, in 2014, 2016 and 2020.
